Site Superintendent
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the various construction trades and subcontractors onsite, and - Keeping the project on time and on budget;
- Conducting home owner walk throughs;
- Coaching and mentoring junior construction staff;
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of construction experience;
- Blue print review/interpretation to ensure building code compliance;
- Solid knowledge of construction site operations including Occupational - Health and Safety compliance;
- Proven leadership capabilities;
- Strong project management, estimating and cost control skills;
- Problem solving skills to improve productivity and assess opportunities for product quality improvements;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Extremely well organized and excel at juggling multiple projects and priorities;
- Working both independently and within a team setting.
