The Calgary Fire Department is pleased to announce the ´Ground Breaking´ Ceremony of the new #32 Fire Station in Saddle Ridge tomorrow, Tuesday, May 25th at 1000 hours. The address of this temporary station is 206 Saddleback Rd. N.E.

Steiner, President of the Saddle Ridge Community Association and representation from other surrounding communities, will be of hand to officially launch this much anticipated fire station.
The Saddle Ridge Fire Station will become the second residential-based fire station modeled after #3 in Hidden
Valley N.W., which means it will be a fully operational fire station functioning within a residential home. This ´fire
safe´ house will have the latest in home fire safety that will inspire others to look at ways to make their homes even safer. Sprinkler systems, fire retardant paints, lighted stairways and emergency lighting are just a few of many safety features that will be incorporated into the new station.
