Painter's Lodge Salmon Run 9/14/2004
This is the second consecutive year that Homes by Avi’s team-building-trip took place at Painter’s Lodge, a first class resort located on the beautiful west coast of Vancouver Island. Homes by Avi chartered a plane for 135 employees from both Calgary and Edmonton to participate in this three-day trip that took place from September 6th through to September 8th.
The goal of this annual trip is to ensure the company’s continued success by promoting a healthy corporate culture through an interactive team building approach. Avi Amir believes that to build a truly successful company you can’t only focus on work, but must have a healthy balance between work and leisure. This event brings employees together to remind them of this fundamental foundation of the company’s success. The trip was a huge success as Homes by Avi employees joined together to strengthen the team between two cities.
Homes by Avi employees participated in numerous activities such as:
- Salmon Fishing: Guided fishing trips were by far the group’s favorite activity.
- Golfing: Crown Isle, a challenging course set in a gorgeous natural setting put our golfers to the test.
- Horseback Riding: Many employees enjoyed pleasurable trail rides through beautiful British Columbia landscape.
- Whale Watching: Got up close and personal with magnificent Killer Whales.
- Ocean Rapid Tours: Nature has created an Extreme experience that has us white-knuckled, wide-eyed and wet! The ocean rapids are caused by the incoming tide and the tide rises, the speed of the water goes through the narrow channels and passages between the islands.
