Moving for a Cure - Home of Hope 2005 2/16/2005
Tuesday, February 22, Calgary – On Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at 1 PM Homes by Avi will unveil the 2005 “Home of Hope”. The new “Ainsley” show home found in the Hopewell community of Copperfield, will serve as the 2005 “Home of Hope”. Located at 84 Copperstone Gate SE, this show home is the next chapter of an ongoing partnership between Homes by Avi and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Alberta/NWT Chapter.
Through this partnership Homes by Avi will continue to support the CBCF through a $25,000 donation upon the sale of the 2005 “Home of Hope” in Calgary, as well as a Home of Hope in Edmonton to be announced in early March. Homes by Avi donated $10,000 through the 2004 “Home of Hope” and in 2003 were awarded the CIBC Corporate Team Spirit Award for raising over $12,700 at the 12th annual CIBC Run for the Cure.

All donations made to the CBCF – Alberta/NWT Chapter go directly to fund, support and advocate for relevant and innovative breast cancer research, meaningful education and awareness programs, early diagnosis and effective treatment and a positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer.
