Building a Future Without Breast Cancer 9/22/2003

Homes by Avi, who announced in June that the net proceeds from the sale of their Evergreen Estates show home will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) – Alberta/NWT Chapter invites the media to visit the Home of Hope for a private tour between September 22 and October 3.
The proceeds from the sale of the show home will be used by the CBCF-Alberta/NWT Chapter to fund innovative breast cancer research and community projects that are taking the Foundation one step closer to achieving its vision of a future without breast cancer.

“Our company feels it is important to be a responsible corporate citizen,” says Avi Amir, President and founder of Homes by Avi. “We see supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Alberta/NWT Chapter as the perfect opportunity to do that.”

The home, located at 138 Evergreen Common SW, is another beautiful example of Homes by Avi’s 25 years of home building experience.

Private media tours are available Monday thru Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm; Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm. To arrange a private tour during these show home hours, or to book another time, please call Anita Bustos at Homes by Avi at 403-212-1635.

“This home, and this partnership are both wonderful opportunities for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation,” says Brent Barootes, Development Director for the CBCF – Alberta/NWT Chapter. “It shows that Homes by Avi is a leader in building both homes and communities.”

Homes by Avi will also be supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation – Alberta/NWT Chapter throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The Foundation’s signature pink ribbons, along with newsletters and information on the latest breast cancer statistics will be on display in each of Homes by Avi’s 15 show homes in Calgary.

The CBCF – Alberta/NWT Chapter works collaboratively to fund, support and advocate for relevant and innovative breast cancer research, meaningful education and awareness programs, early diagnosis, effective treatment and a positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer.
